caitlin riley

Actor: NYC + PHILLY

A former high school English teacher and PA/talent assistant, Caitlin is no stranger to high stakes and set life. Her first stage was a classroom, where she learned how to keep an audience of teenagers engaged and excited to learn. On sets, she watched actors inhabit other worlds, and as she stirred the cream into their coffees, she imagined what it was like on the other side.

CUT TO: The Other Side. She started with a class at The Barrow Group, got cast in a few community theater plays, and BOOM—once stage lights hit her face, there was no option but the hustle.

Nothing energizes her more than being in class with fellow actors in hot pursuit of humanity, and she’s been lucky enough to have studied with Michael Kostroff, Van Hansis at MN Acting Studio, and currently with Andrew Polk at The Freeman Studio.

Career highlight was working opposite Kate Winslet and Guy Pearce for HBO's Mare of Easttown. The scene didn’t make the final cut, but it happened, y’all and It. Was. Glorious.

Caitlin lives just outside Philly with her wife (shout-out to www.jessicaglebe.com) and their three boys—Banksy, a short-haired radiologist, Phil, a geriatric chihuahua, and Gary, a mixed-breed, fresh shit enthusiast.

Resumé

Who’s that lady?

Sarcastic and cool, charming and bold, she’s got eyes on the inside. Good or evil? She won’t show those cards, so be careful what you share. She’s tech smart and savvy, translating big ideas with ease. Those missing pieces to the puzzle? She knows exactly where they’re hiding. She desires to do good, to rise from the ashes, don the cape and draw the sword. But nothing comes without a struggle. It’s taken many moons to crawl through the shadows, and those skeletons in her closet? Their bones are rattling.
